After eight months Lucy and I have gone our separate ways. It’s always hard ending a relationship but this one is particularly hard. She was a fantastic person and I already miss her a lot. But, apparently some things are not meant to be. Even though we both knew it was coming the actual moment is difficult to take.
Lucy, if you are reading this, thank you for a great eight months. You are a wonderful woman and I will miss you. Even when completing some errands today I walked past the place we had our first date and was hit by a wall of sadness. I remember seeing you there for the first time.
Look after that puppy of yours. I’ll miss him too.

In line with the rest of my life at the moment, I’m shifting my blogging over to my RXAphotography blog.
This site will still remain active but to follow my (hopefully more frequent) blogging, go to www.rxaphotography.com and click on the blog link.
A twitter bomb is when you use exactly the maximum 140 characters allocated to each twitter unitentionally.
“ I hate it when words that are spelt right look wrong and you begin to doubt yourself and wonder if you really are as smart as a fifth grader”
I know I’m a geek. But I thought it was cool.
A testimonial from Shelton Muller. A fantastic photographer I have been working with.
This is going on my website and in my portfolios (just in time for the pitch tomorrow).
“Having Richard work with me as an assistant on my weddings has been an absolute joy. He is not only aware of the needs of the bride and groom from a photographic perspective, but he is also concerned with how they enjoy their day. He sees his role as more than just a person who takes photographs and as such clearly understands his importance to the couple. In that regard alone he is unique among his peers. His passion for the craft and his innate ability to take photographs speaks for itself.”
