The numbers game

From time to time, many photographers embark on ‘projects’ as a way of making them take photos they would not consider taking normally.

Hence begins ‘the numbers game’. A little project where I will take and post to my flickr account, in order, photographs of numbers. My own rules state that the numbers must be uploaded in order and the numbers need to be consecutive and only one photo per day allowed.

In my day to day shooting I would never normally consider taking photos of numbers, so this will push me outside of my comfort zone. This is always a good thing when you want to learn.

It will be interesting to see how far I can take this over the coming years. From now on, whenever I go shooting or, even when I am just walking around with my camera, I will have in the back of my mind the next number I need for the project.

But what if I get to #2 first? Does that mean you’ll skip it and go onto #3?

Maybe I didn’t make myself clear. This is MY project. :-)

    One is the loneliest number…

Oh, I understood what you meant. Doesn’t meant I can’t turn it into a competition.
