Chris and I went down to Brighton Beach today for a photo walk. We both planned on getting some landscapes but ended up taking hundreds of photos of some kite-boarders who were more than happy to do some jumps and other aquatic acrobatics for us.
We also took some photos inside the walled off Brighton Baths at the invitation of the personal trainer who works there.
Taking a quick look through the photos I have a couple of possibilities for my online gallery so it was a good day.

45/365 – So long little house

After house sitting for the last seven weeks, my time at the Glen Waverley abode has come to a finish. Mike and Justine return to Australia tonight.
Let me take this opportunity to thank them for the chance to settle somewhere for seven weeks. As some of you know that crap fest that is my life is at most times, extremely unsettled. The time here has been a fantastic chance to regroup and ponder life.
I’ve taken 35 of my 45 self portrait photos here and it will be sad to leave the place. But I did my job! The fish are all alive.
Not quite sure where I am going from here but I’m sure I’ll find out somehow. As long as I have my camera and an Internet connection to continue uploading these shots … things should be good.
Packing up this computer now. Speak at you later.

Last night’s army rehearsal was a challenging one as I conducted for most of the evening. The bosses were off doing boss type things so I offered to warm up the band which lead to me taking the band through about five or six items.
I’m much more comfortable behind the drums but this was a good experience as well. There were some good noises coming out of the band so I couldn’t have done too badly.

Another RXA sighting.
David’s photo of me from our Mornington Peninsula Photo walk.
As I wrote in a comment for him. “I really like this photo and not just because I’m in it.”
See more of David’s photos here and read his blog here. I am hoping by sending people to his blog it will encourage him to write more.
