This is my first testimonial (a sort of permanent comment) and was left by one of my regular viewers. I am blown away. Thanks Rosie!

Please do yourself a favour if you have any interest in photography and check out Rosie’s photos. I’m not going to tell you that she is very young and only uses a point and shoot camera as that will depress you into giving up. It nearly made me throw it all away.

Got back today from lunch with L. It was (and still is) a beautiful day so we sat in the rear courtyard and chatted as people one by one took the remaining chairs at our table.

Sushi was on the menu for L whilst I had a vegetarian quiche which quite frankly would have been better if it had some ham in it.

After lunch I returned to some photos I’ve been working on.

Quote from lunch:

R – “Do you want a slerf (meaning to say slurp)? … what the hell is a slerf?”

L – “It’s a combination of a slurp and a smurf, it’s a small slurp, and it’s blue!”

You’ve got to admire a thought process like that … and the impressive speed in which she answered.
