My black and white theme has been a challenge. I find it hard looking for shots that i think will work in black and white so you can imagine why I find it staggering to discover that three out of six of my black and white photos have made it to Explore. Flickr’s so called best photos of the day.
There is something seriously wrong with their system.

Why would being on flickr’s explore mean you know nothing about photography? It basically means you’ve had a lot of comments/favourites for your shot. My assumption would be that you would need to know something to be included in the “interesting” photos of the day. Weird title for this post.

My meaning was I didn’t think the shot was worthy. Sorry, I’m tired and didn’t explain myself properly.

Not to put a damper on your shots, but Explore isn’t always about quality photos; half the time it’s a popularity contest — the sheer number of crappy flower and generic female shots should attest to that.
There *are* a lot of good shots that make it into there, though.
