I wasn't commenting on your shots at all, just on the Explore algorithms (which change every so often anyway). My view is that Explore is currently showing "popular" shots; they might be popular because the person has lots of contacts who view every one of their shots, they might be popular because they have a half naked woman in them, they can also be popular because they are actually good. This is the case with (I reckon) about half of the shots in Explore. Yours were good, which is why they got there. It seems my comment sparked this, at least in part.
