So which one of my readers left that “comment” (that is still sitting in my moderation cue BTW)? The IP address gives me a rough location so I’ve narrowed it down to a select few.
I’ve had several conversations, emails and questions recently regarding the openness I display on this blog.
I’ve always been reasonably transparent about my activities and thoughts (and this is the kicker) WHEN I share. It’s almost a blog mantra that writers chant “Do not assume you know me from my blog”.
There is a lot I share but easily twice that I don’t. My partner (if I have one) will be protected as this blog is about me, not them … I will mention them occasionally but the information will be sparse and filtered.
I don’t know why I am writing this but I guess I am answering a few questions I have had.
My blog is for me. It serves two purposes. It lets my family and friends know what I am doing and what’s going on in my life. The primary reason is it gives me something to look back on over time.
Ok … rant over … if any of you made it this far … well done.
Wondering …
… If my recent post about my t-shirts lead someone to a purchase.
I just logged into my red bubble account page to find that someone has bought my “Commit no nuisance” shirt.
Makes me wish the site would let me who bought it and in what colour/size etc.
Like sands through the hourglass…
I’m trawling through a LOT of photographs at the moment. Rating, key wording, deleting, sorting and uploading a few.
Here’s a list of recent album additions I haven’t mentioned on the blog yet.
- 8.8.7 – Michael & Justine’s European Vacation
- 13.3.7 – Healesville & Maroondah Dam
- 15.11.5 – Tommy Emmanuel @ Ballarat from 2005!
Yes I have changed the design. But as it’s my blog I can do that whenever I want and as I am a die hard Mac user, how could this not be appropriate.
