Some scary, some funny. Most just crazy.

One of the several comic strips I subscribe to for daily delivery is User Friendly. Set in a Canadian ISP, the guys and gals of Columbia Internet tackle all manner of geeky and non-geeky conundrums.

Today my brother (#2) and I went to see The Simpsons Movie.

First impressions … it was short compared to most movies being released these days. I would say no longer than ninety minutes including previews. But what it lacked in length it made up in humour. Some very funny moments throughout the film (many involving Ralph Wiggum) appeared out of nowhere.

A personal favorite was the typical blackboard gag during the introduction. Bart is seen to be writing “I must not illegally download this movie” several times. Made me chuckle.

The tried and tested way for me to recommend a movie is to decide, would I pay to see it in the movies again. My answer … yes!
